Are you stuck in a job you hate because of your horrible boss? We know that there are some bosses who take all the credit of hardworking of their subordinates, and some bosses who try to sexually abuse their subordinates. In this movie three buddies, Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) are victims of their evil superiors. And the movie goes on showing how they try to get rid of these horrible bosses.

Horrible Bosses is a dark comedy, but it wasn’t as “dark” as expected. I really enjoyed the movie. The three bosses, Dave Harken (Kevin Spacey), Bobby Pellitt (Colin Farrell), and Dr. Julia Harris (Jennifer Aniston) are really horrible bosses. Three stars who portrait the characters are such talented and the performances are really… really… good. My favorite horrible boss is Dr. Julia :D

I always like to watch Jason Bateman’s movies and I really enjoyed his performance in this movie. I couldn’t stop myself laughing when I was watching the scene that Dale drops thousands of dollars worth of cocaine belongs to Bobby on his carpet, and getting high by accidently inhaling them. And also the tattooed murder consultant (Jamie Foxx) is hilarious.

Horrible bosses is a simple, hilarious film, though it is quite predictable. As a woman who likes to watch pure, simple, and entertaining movies, this movie is one of the best comedies I’ve watched in this year. If you need a good laugh, grab a popcorn basket, put your feet up and enjoy.

    Oh my this looks like a fun movie! I don't remember hearing about it and when I first saw it I didn't think it would really be that fun. But the trailer looks like fun. Thanks!

  This is the best book I have read recently. The style is unique, the tone is witty, the characters are really entertaining and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. The footnotes that can be found in Bartimaeus chapters greatly enhance the story with humorous remarks. It may sound tedious to read a bit, jump to the bottom for the footnotes and then carry on back up top. But Stroud has done it masterfully and these footnotes add magic to the book. I don’t know how I missed House of Cards, if KP hadn’t mentioned it I wouldn’t know the existence of this great political drama. Somehow I am glad that I missed it when they aired the first season, hence I watched the whole two seasons at a stretch, with no breaks, without waiting for another year.   “There are two kinds of pain. Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck

When I was at the international book fair few weeks back, I found this interesting book. I was attracted to the book because of the cover. I picked the book and read the back cover and it seemed interesting to me. So I bought this book Tiger’s Curse and the second book of the series Tiger’s Quest . I am glad I bought it.   I found it is very hard to put the book back once I started reading. I really love the plot, which blends Indian mythology with romance and adventure.  Houck surely has done a lot of research into the mythology and it reads well and feels so real.
